Ronja Rövardotter Opening
Der Anfangsgesang von Ronja Räubertochter.
Da werden Kindheitserinnerungen wach! ^_^

I love this from the bottom of my heart since I'm 5 years old ❤ love from Germany
Björn Isfält var ett geni!
I feel like my swedish DNA is awakening from hearing this..!❤Gives me goosebumps everytime^^

Viking sounds
helt jävla överdjövligt magiskt.....
Is a really a good song after you come home from the ambush battle and the fighting
This iis so scandinavia. :)
You should look up Van Canto's cover of this "song" if you like it.
We traded this for smart phones and electronic music. Music today will never hit me this good. Why can't we go back a few hundred years...
well now, i haven't heard this in over a decade
As you might have heard or read about it, they are currently working a brand new streaming adaption of this classic Astrid Lindgren novel, set to air on Swedish television sometime in late 2023. As I watch this amazing opening and listen to the haunting music, I wonder how will they be able to top this. Time will tell, I guess!
I agree. The new adaption from Viaplay will never beat this. The 1984 classic is outstanding and today, they do not have the legendary Björn Isfält as the music composer who created many good music tracks, just like this one.

They'll top it by making it diverse! Introducing lots of africans and arabs to the swedish forests.

Svenska: Jag gillar Denna sång😄😉 English: I love this song😄😉
goddamn. book of boba fetts theme was inspired from this? sounds really similar
Ludwig Göransson who made the theme for Boba Fett is Swedish so it's a safe bet to assume it was.
Right movie wrong song
Goodness me, this is absolutely beautiful. I'm overwhelmed with a sense of emotion I honestly can't describe or comprehend.
pure power
The part scandinavians remember is from around 0:48
The main inspiration for Shirley/Göransson on the Boba Fett Disney+ show outro.
It's an ancient call from a world long forgotten.
@@aleksanderh.5407 I was thinking the Boba Fett outro reminded me of this!
Swedes are saying "it's stolen" lmao. Guys, y'all ever heard of influence, imitation and sampling in music theory?!
What are you talking about?

Someone said in the comments of Ludwig Göransson's Book of Boba Fett theme that this sounds like it.
Hello Boba Fett new main theme =)))

Joik?
[<< Swede] At every international sports event, I cross my fingers they'll play this as our national anthem. One day...! <3
That's so beautiful my friend, so beautiful. God bless you.
same...
This is actually inspired by Georgian and Caucasian folk music believe it or not
YES. This. Other countries have two capital cities. We could have two national anthems. Or just replace the old one with this one. So much better. And really ment for a mass choir.
Där sa du något!🤩❤❤❤ Hoppas hoppas,..!!!!
När Sverige var... ni vet. :'(
Outvecklat, med en medellivslängd på typ 16 år? Nej, tack. Pusshej!

underbar öppning av filmen <3
Sörknatten in Dalsland, Sweden. A very nice set for this film.
i would love to see it
0:49 Almost sounds like the beginning of the Danish national anthem "Der er et yndigt land" even the part after sounds a bit like the tones of "det står med brede bøge"

@Van Aser Sure bro
Jeg er helt vild med den sang👏👏👏👏. Den får en i godt humør
Is this german? I think it is german or perhaps Austrian. I love the song and i am happy its not one of these new climate songs. Old school non climaterie songs at its best!
Swedish
I feel obliged to point out that this style of singing is NOT "traditionally Swedish." The soundtrack of Ronja Rövardotter takes a lot of inspiration from traditional Georgian singing. If you're interested, look up the songs "Perhouli" by Folk Ensemble Orovela and "Makrouli" by Folk Ensemble Chinangali, the style is pretty much identical in singing technique, harmonies, rhythms, etc. I say this because I think some credit is due to the musical traditions of Georgia, which created this wonderful style of music.
Bullshit, stuff can be at different areas at the same time
@@chevyjohnson7457 Can you find a single example of this type of singing from Swedish folk music?
This is Scandinavia
@@soderlund3610 It's not a style of singing endemic to Scandinavia.
The song has some inspiration from gregorian singing, at least the music, but the singing also has some inspiration from jojk, a traditional song from the Sami, making it have some swedish inspired singing. Some other songs from Ronja also has some inspiration from kulning if I don't remember incorrectly which is a traditional swedish herding calls women used all the way back to the medieval times in scandinavia, maybe even older.
My favourite movie as a child 💛💙 hurra for Astrid !!
Where is the diversity in this clip, swaden?

melting inside.... *.* does anybody know, how this singing technique/style is called?
Don't think it's any particular style actually. They are just humming melodies, there are no words in it.
Personally I think it is close to how they called for cows and goats in nordic countries, back in the old days. It's called "kulning" in Swedish. That's probably where they got the idea for this song from. ruclips.net/video/6fglBL7eQIA/видео.html
That's actually pretty similar to the "Jodeln" (yodel) in the Alpes; it has nothing to do what you hear nowadays in so-called "folklore"-music; the very stem is that the mountain-people , including the "Säumer" (I hope the correct english term is "Sumpter" => traders who used pack animals for mountain-traveling), used it as a meaning of communication; due to the echo-effect you could pass on news from mountain peak to mountain peak. Sadly enough, apart from some very, very old people nobody can understand the "language" anymore; it's less words, more some kind of "code". And of course they also used it for calling sheep, goats, cows - and in some areas even horses.
It's inspired by folk music from Georgia and other countries from the Caucasian mountains. I'm from there and it sounds identical
@@gavin2715how do you claim humming melodies?
